Background: The county has proposed these changes for the entire county, to alleviate homelessness by increasing development. But in Arch Cape, concerns have been raised about environmental impact, infrastructure capacity, and having the result be more vacation homes rather than affordable housing for residents.

Summary of Changes:

• Reduce minimum lot sizes.

• Allow multi-family and other types of housing such as RV parks.

• Remove opportunity for community review of roads.

• Eliminate required notice to neighboring landowners.

• Eliminate public involvement for most development.
